Bavarian Manufacturing-X Congress 2024
Visit our booth at the Manufacturing-X Congress in Wuerzburg on February 6, 2024 to learn more about our innovative solutions in the field of domain-specific extensions of generic data spaces, especially in the context of complex material data, which are subject to extensive transformation in manufacturing processes.
The ISC Digital department at Fraunhofer ISC is researching user-oriented solutions such as OpenSemanticLab to capture material and process data as well as expert knowledge ontologized as linked data, process it automatically and make it available via data spaces.
Workshop at Fraunhofer ISC the day before on February 5, 2024
In the run-up to the event, a 1-day workshop will take place at Fraunhofer ISC's Neunerplatz on the topic of "Data spaces: Use cases for data-based value creation" with a keynote speech by Simon Stier. Link to further information.
Tour through Fraunhofer TLC-RT on February 6, 2024
Following the lecture program, the "old university eye clinic" in the neighboring building of the Congress Centrum Würzburg can be visited. Following extensive renovation, the building was opened in May this year as a new biotechnology site in Wuerzburg. It is home to the Fraunhofer Translational Center for Regenerative Therapies TLC-RT and the Fraunhofer Project Center for Stem Cell Process Technology.
As part of the Bavarian Manufacturing-X Congress, an interactive robot platform for the production of in-vitro organoid cell culture models, including those of the respiratory tract, can be viewed (duration approx. 30 min). This was further developed in the "RoboCure" project and also uses AI and corresponding data rooms to further optimize the organoid models. Robot-assisted production enables rapid, standardized preclinical identification and qualification of substances that have already been approved for other applications, thus shortening the path to immediate clinical translation.
Please note that a separate registration is required for the tour.
You are welcome to contact our colleagues in advance to arrange an appointment at our stand. We look forward to seeing you!
