As one of more than 70 Fraunhofer institutes, the Fraunhofer Institute for Silicate Research ISC is part of Europe’s leading organization for applied research. The Würzburg Institute employs scientists in the areas of physics, chemistry, materials science, mineralogy, geophysics, process engineering, plastics engineering, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering.
