Bioanalytics is a highly interdisciplinary combination of analytical methods from different fields such as biochemistry, medicine, molecular biology and chemistry.
With the various complex issues involved, it is crucial to have not only state-of-the-art equipment but also a team of specialists from the various fields. At Fraunhofer ISC, we have established an interdisciplinary analytics team for this purpose. Behind it we have several scientific working groups that can provide further support as needed.
Due to its greater complexity, bioanalytics is in most cases more costly in terms of accuracy and reproducibility than classical chemical analysis.
- Tissue analyses:
Analysis of ex vivo tissue or in vitro prepared tissue models using both invasive and non-invasive methods. - Cell analyses:
Analysis of target cells or culture supernatants using both invasive and non-invasive methods - Imaging/microscopy:
Imaging cell and tissue samples at the light microscopic as well as ultrastructural level and performing detailed morphological analyses - Chemical analysis:
Accurate analysis and testing of inorganic materials and materials of construction.
Since bioanalytics can be complex and cover several dynamic disciplines, please do not hesitate to contact us directly for a consultation.
