Flex & Stretch: When electronics take on new forms
Highly integrated, multifunctional, energy- and resource-efficient: the demands on microelectronics for future applications, for example in the IoT or medical technology sectors, are high. Flexible or even elastic electronics offer great potential here. Researchers from the Fraunhofer Institute for Silicate Research ISC and the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Microsystems and Solid State Technologies EMFT will be presenting flexible materials and technologies for the solar industry and electronic textiles, among other things, at their joint booth at LOPEC.
The research team will inform you about the latest developments in hall B0 at booth 105 and present prototypes of smart textiles with printed conductors, printed sensors on paper as well as stretchable conductors, substrates and insulators.
